Dimensional Imaging's DI3D™ facial 3D capture systems have been used in the manufacture of facial splints for use in the treatment of facial burns. By using the high resolution 3D data captured using a DI3D™ system, these facial splints can be manufactured with no contact and no discomfort to the patient by avoiding traditional plaster casting methods.
